![]() ![]() I'm not aware of anybody who, like me, is still on Windows 8 or 8.1 who have the types of issues that have been recently reported by those with Windows 10. If, in fact, it is the Creators update causing the problems then it would seem that it is also somewhat system specific, so depends on all those mysterious behind-the-scenes settings that different systems have hidden in registry entries and who knows where else. But if I recall correctly not everybody with the update has run into problems with PSP, and some that do report slow starting while others report more frequent crashes. My personal recollection given that I have generally at least read the various posts is that many people reporting the issues have also found that they started after the Windows 10 Creators Update. But Corel is doing nothing to keep me as a user.I suspect that the reason you haven't been getting responses to the issue you're having is that there are many posts with people complaining of slow starting, crashes, etc and there haven't been any definitive answers to what is causing the various issues reported. And make posts and answer questions on their forum. Now add to that that the developers of Photoline are open to suggestions. Here's a link to what they changed and how they approach the release. Photoline has just released an update to version 20. ![]() (Photoline allows me to use PSP as an external editor. I use PSPx8 for some favorite adjustments and tools. Makes me wonder how they think they can compete with the other options on the market. Release, ignore, deny, fix and break other stuff while fixing what they said wasn't broken. But there seems to something very incompetent in the Corel workflow. I read every post here to learn what's going on and to get tips on what to look for and what to avoid.īut my concern is that this 'stuff' seems to happen with every new version of PSP. But I simply can't get my head around the new way of handling the UI. I said I wouldn't but I did!! I downloaded the trial version of PSP2018. ![]()
